The Team:
We are looking for a hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented Global Benefits Specialist to join our Global Total Rewards Team in Madrid.
The Role:
In this role, you will play a central part in executing and optimizing our employee benefits footprint across the EMEA region. From managing vendor relationships and contract renewals to partnering with Finance on premium payments and maintaining benefits inventory, you will ensure our benefit programs operate seamlessly. If you are eager to learn, thrive in a fast-paced international environment, and love making complex operations run smoothly, this role is for you.
The work you’ll do:
• Global Benefits: own and manage our global benefit offers (like our gym partnerships, life insurance, etc).
• EMEA Benefits Management & Inventory: Act as the operational owner for all EMEA benefit programs (health insurance, pensions, life/disability coverage, wellness allowances, and regional perks). Maintain a comprehensive, up-to-date benefits inventory and catalog across all EMEA entities.
• Contract Renewals & Vendor Relations: Support the end-to-end renewal cycle for regional brokers and benefit providers. Coordinate timelines, review plan terms, gather employee data, and ensure timely renegotiations and renewals.
• Enrollment & Lifecycle Operations: Coordinate enrollments, changes, and terminations with local brokers and providers. Partner with People Operations and Payroll to ensure benefits deductions and tax implications are reflected accurately.
• Employee Experience & Tier-2 Support: Act as a key point of contact for employee inquiries regarding EMEA benefits, policy details, and claim escalations, providing clear and empathetic guidance.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure all benefit offerings comply with local labor laws, statutory requirements, and reporting standards across our EMEA jurisdictions.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify operational bottlenecks, standardize processes across countries, and support the broader Total Rewards team on strategic global benefit initiatives.
• As a member of the Global Total Rewards team, you will work closely with the Senior Manager, Global Benefits (US based) and Benefits Specialist (US based) as with other members of the Total Rewards Team.
The qualifications you need:
• Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in HR operations, benefits, or total rewards.
• Regional Knowledge: Familiarity with statutory vs. supplementary benefit structures across major EMEA markets (e.g., Spain, Germany, UK, France, Netherlands).
• Mindset: Highly hands-on, curious, and eager to learn the broader landscape of Total Rewards.
• Organizational Skills: attention to detail, structured data management, and the ability to manage recurring operational deadlines with minimal supervision.
What Celonis can offer you:
• Pioneer Innovation: Work with the global leader in Process Mining and the Process Intelligence Graph to shape the future of AI-driven business operations.
• Ownership from Day 1: Every full-time "Celonaut" is an owner, receiving Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and merit-based refresh grants.
• Unrivaled Family Support: Benefit from our inclusive parental leave policy—24 weeks of fully paid leave for primary carers and 12 weeks for supporting carers, available from your first day of employment.
• Work-Life Integration: Enjoy Unlimited PTO (in applicable regions) and generous PTO globally, as well as a flexible hybrid work model that balances remote focus with vibrant office collaboration.
• Continuous Growth: Elevate your skills through our 70-20-10 learning framework, mentorship programs, and access to a dedicated learning platform.
• Holistic Well-being: Prioritize your health with subsidized Wellhub memberships, mental health counseling, and dedicated "Wellness Weeks" that prioritize work/life balance.
• Drive Sustainability: Participate in annual Impact Days, where you receive paid time off to volunteer for community and environmental causes with your local office, or virtually.
• Global Inclusion & Belonging: Find community through our Inclusion Think Tank and participate in our annual Inclusion Days, ensuring every voice is heard and valued.
• Value-Driven Impact: Join a mission-led organization where our core values—Live for Customer Value, The Best Team Wins, We Own It, and Earth Is Our Future—drive every decision.
