TUM Project Study – AI-Powered Learning Content Creator

Celonis is the trusted platform to industrialize Enterprise AI. At our core is the Celonis Context Model — which combines process data, business knowledge, and intelligence into a living digital twin of the enterprise that AI can actually understand, turning AI's operational blind spots into operational clarity. World's leading companies trust Celonis and its global ecosystem of partners to make their AI agents, people, systems, and processes work together, achieving transformational outcomes. We believe there's a massive opportunity to unlock global productivity and sustainability by giving AI the context to understand how every business process really works. Join our mission to make processes work for people, companies, and the planet. Key Facts: Design and build a generative-AI workflow that helps the Celonis Talent Development team create high-quality learning content — faster, more consistently, and tailored to the learner. Flexible start date. Applications are open! Background: In 2011, three students from TU Munich founded Celonis (www.celonis.com), today the global leader in Process Intelligence. Our mission: make Enterprise AI work. More than 1,400 companies — including ABB, Fujitsu, PepsiCo, and Uniper — use Celonis to analyze, design, and operate AI-driven processes. At the core is the Celonis Context Model, combining process data, business knowledge, and intelligence to give people and AI agents the clarity to act reliably. The Talent Development team enables Celonauts, customers, and partners with the learning experiences and leadership programs they need to be successful with Celonis. The Role: Learning content is one of the most powerful levers Celonis has to enable Celonauts, customers, and partners. But the volume, variety, and velocity of content needed keeps growing faster than it can be produced by hand. Also, as business needs change, it is important the content offered is relevant and tied to those needs. Generative AI now makes it possible to rethink how learning content is designed, drafted, maintained, and personalized, while keeping instructional quality and human expertise at the center of the process. Together with the Celonis Talent Development team, your project team owns the question end to end: How can generative AI augment the learning content creation workflow to produce high-quality learning experiences faster, more consistently, and tailored to the different learner needs? You'll get hands-on exposure to how a world-class enablement team works, and the chance to shape practical AI assisted workflows that could change how learning content is created across t Celonis. Your Goals: • Research the current state of the art in generative AI for learning, instructional design, and content creation — including tools, techniques, and best practices • Map the current content creation process and identify opportunities where AI can add the most value while maintaining quality and consistency. • Identify and prioritize high-value use cases (e.g., turning source documents or materials into micro-learning, drafting scripts and storyboards, generating quizzes and assessment items, supporting localization and translation, refreshing outdated content, creating facilitator guides or other support resources) • Design and prototype an AI-assisted learning content creation workflow • Evaluate the results by considering content quality, relevance, instructional effectiveness, time and effort saved, usability for content creators and opportunities for personalization. • Define recommendations and guardrails for responsible AI adoption, including accuracy, human review, accessibility, brand voice, and governance. • Pilot the workflow on a real learning program and measure the impact The qualifications you need: • You're genuinely curious about generative AI and excited to apply it to a real business challenge • You bring the bias-to-action of an entrepreneur and enjoy building new things from scratch, including the ambiguity of an unsolved problem • You're interested in learning, enablement, instructional design, user experience or knowledge management • Experience with AI tools, prompt engineering, no-code automation, or basic scripting helpful but not required) • You are comfortable collaborating with different stakeholders and translating ideas into practical solutions • Your enthusiasm is contagious and you can win people over What Celonis can offer you: • Pioneer Innovation: Work with the global leader in Process Mining and the Process Intelligence Graph to shape the future of AI-driven business operations. • Ownership from Day 1: Every full-time "Celonaut" is an owner, receiving Restricted Stock Units (RSUs) and merit-based refresh grants. • Unrivaled Family Support: Benefit from our inclusive parental leave policy—24 weeks of fully paid leave for primary carers and 12 weeks for supporting carers, available from your first day of employment. • Work-Life Integration: Enjoy Unlimited PTO (in applicable regions) and generous PTO globally, as well as a flexible hybrid work model that balances remote focus with vibrant office collaboration. • Continuous Growth: Elevate your skills through our 70-20-10 learning framework, mentorship programs, and access to a dedicated learning platform. • Holistic Well-being: Prioritize your health with subsidized Wellhub memberships, mental health counseling, and dedicated "Wellness Weeks" that prioritize work/life balance. • Drive Sustainability: Participate in annual Impact Days, where you receive paid time off to volunteer for community and environmental causes with your local office, or virtually. • Global Inclusion & Belonging: Find community through our Inclusion Think Tank and participate in our annual Inclusion Days, ensuring every voice is heard and valued. • Value-Driven Impact: Join a mission-led organization where our core values—Live for Customer Value, The Best Team Wins, We Own It, and Earth Is O
