• Maintain complete and organized records of incentive agreements, compliance filings, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure readiness for audits, agency inquiries, and internal reviews.
• Monitor performance against incentive requirements (e.g., job creation, wage thresholds, investment levels).
• Identify potential compliance risks and escalate issues proactively.
• Support development and maintenance of internal policies, procedures, and playbooks for incentive compliance.
• Implement best practices for tracking, documentation, and reporting.
Who You Are:
• 4+ years of experience with credits and incentives, tax, economic development, or state and local tax (SALT).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex, multi-jurisdictional requirements.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to synthesize legal requirements into operational processes.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders.
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets is preferred.
