[OUR JOURNEY] Founded in 2016 and launched in 2017 by Alexandre https://www.linkedin.com/in/aprot/ and Steve https://www.linkedin.com/in/steveanavi/, Qonto has grown to 1,700 Qontoers serving over 750,000 customers across 8 European countries. We have been profitable since 2023, and we are just getting started.
[OUR BELIEFS] We hire for skills and potential. With 80+ nationalities, 45% women, of which 56% of women in our leadership team, diversity isn't a program; It's who we are. We've built a discrimination-free hiring process https://medium.com/qonto-way/a-recruiters-dilemma-confronting-bias-in-hiring-b78acce148eb because the best teams are built on merit.
[AI AT QONTO] AI is deeply embedded in how we work (here https://medium.com/qonto-way/ai-at-qonto-vision-statement-725a7e2f659b) - Every Qontoer gets unlimited access to the best AI tools. We want people who experiment without waiting for permission, push AI beyond the obvious, know when to trust it, and when to question it.
Join us as a Credit Fraud Analyst to help protect Qonto's credit products as we become a bank. You'll own the operational efficiency of our credit fraud processes end-to-end, reporting to Thibault, https://www.linkedin.com/in/thibaultmosser/ Head of Fraud.
➡️ What you'll do
- Own credit fraud operations end-to-end: You'll supervise the day-to-day efficiency of our credit fraud processes.
- Sharpen our AI fraud detection: You'll partner with Tech to continuously improve the AI tool we use to catch credit fraud and defaults.
- Rework eligibility, not just enforce it: You'll analyze credit defaults and declined financing to challenge and rework our eligibility criteria.
- Build and run fraud controls: You'll design and implement the controls that keep our credit products safe as we scale.
- Be the cross-market go-to on credit fraud: You'll act as the point of contact for Risk, Product and Customer Care across all our markets.
➡️ What we're looking for
- A credit fraud background: You’ve worked in credit fraud specifically, on loans, financing or other credit products, not only payments or AML.
- Hands-on case analysis: You’ve investigated fraud or default cases yourself, from reading the file to making the call.
- You bring a critical mind and real curiosity: You question existing criteria and processes instead of taking them at face value.
- You're curious about AI: You're comfortable using AI tools to spot patterns in data, and keen to help us sharpen the AI tool we use to catch fraud.
➡️ What we can offer you
- A function you get to build, not inherit: As Qonto becomes a bank, you'll shape the credit fraud function from the ground up.
- Real ownership, real trust: Your manager gives real autonomy — you'll be the team's go-to expert, not someone executing a fixed brief.
- A seat at the table across the business: You'll work directly across teams, with visibility across markets.
- A front-row seat to Qonto becoming a bank: You'll join at a pivotal moment as we launch new credit products.
➡️ Your future manager
You will work directly with Thibault Mosser https://www.linkedin.com/in/thibaultmosser/?isSelfProfile=false, our Head of Fraud, who has been with Qonto for 7 years and has led the fraud team through an impressive growth phase. He has led the successful separation of Fraud and AML and implemented modern fraud detection systems.
Thibault is known for his supportive leadership style that grants teams great autonomy, and brings deep understanding of international fraud management. With him as your manager, you will benefit from a leader who understands both operational details and strategic direction.
[DIVERSITY] At Qonto, we understand that true diversity isn’t just about ticking boxes on a hiring checklist. Apply regardless of the boxes you tick - who knows? You may have the missing piece of the puzzle we’ve been searching for all along.
[HIRING PROCESS DURATION] On average, our hiring process lasts 20 working days. More information on our candidate journey here https://qonto.com/en/careers/candidate-journey
