An overview of this role As a Senior Executive Assistant in GitLab's Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) organization, you'll support the VP, Global Solution Architects and the VP, High Velocity Sales & Sales Development. You'll help both leaders stay focused on delivering customer value by managing shifting priorities, anticipating logistical needs, and following through on commitments. In your first year, you'll build trusted relationships and establish reliable processes for scheduling, meeting preparation, travel, events, recruiting coordination, and expenses. This is a partnership that goes beyond calendar management: you'll participate in team discussions, identify next steps, and keep both leaders informed as work moves forward. This role is US-based, with a preference for Central or Eastern time zones. Candidates in Pacific time are also welcome, with flexibility to support leaders and teams across global time zones. What You’ll Do • Own complex, high-volume calendars across multiple time zones for both VPs, adapting to changes and advising on prioritization, delegation, and time management. • Prepare recurring leadership meetings and all-hands, coordinate agendas and presentation materials, confirm attendance, and participate in team calls to identify and follow through on action items. • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, ground transportation, lodging, security needs, and documentation; anticipate disruptions and arrange alternatives when plans change. • Plan and execute off-sites, team-building activities, and company kickoffs, coordinating with event partners and confirming reservations, deposits, and logistics through completion. • Partner with Recruiting and hiring teams on interviews, candidate communication, and onboarding logistics. • Prepare accurate monthly expense reports for both leaders, including receipt collection and reconciliation. • Use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to streamline research, drafting, and recurring administrative work, checking outputs for accuracy, context, and usefulness rather than relying on automated summaries alone. • Provide temporary coverage for other executive support partners and lead special projects and ad hoc requests across the CRO organization. What You’ll Bring • Experience supporting multiple senior leaders or VP-level executives simultaneously in a technology company, with the ability to learn their working styles and business priorities. • Bias for action and ownership: recognize what needs to happen, act independently within agreed priorities, and communicate progress and completion without repeated prompting. • Experience managing complex calendars across time zones, exercising judgment about competing requests, and checking scheduling details and attendees. • Skill in coordinating domestic and international travel and team events, anticipating dependencies, responding to disruptions, and confirming arrangements rather than stopping at an inquiry. • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Navan, Claude and GitLab, alongside experience with expense reporting, recruiting coordination, and onboarding logistics. • Clear, approachable communication across functions and levels, sound judgment with confidential information, and the ability to build trusted working relationships. • Practical experience using AI tools to improve administrative work, with the judgment to validate outputs, capture context, and retain responsibility for the result. • An organized, reliable approach to balancing priorities across two leaders and their teams. We welcome transferable skills from different executive support backgrounds; prior go-to-market experience isn't required. About the team You'll join GitLab's CRO organization, supporting two leaders whose teams span Global Solution Architects, High Velocity Sales, and Sales Development. You'll work alongside a globally distributed group of executive support professionals who collaborate asynchronously through clear documentation, shared processes, and cross-functional partnership. The focus is dependable support for both VPs: keeping priorities clear, coordinating global travel and events, and ensuring commitments are completed and communicated as plans change. How GitLab will support you • Benefits to support your health, finances, and well-being • Flexible Paid Time Off • Team Member Resource Groups • Equity Compensation & Employee Stock Purchase Plan • Growth and Development Fund • Parental leave • Home office support Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with vary
