Senior Specialist/Associate Manager, Event & Experiential Marketing (Bangkok Based, relocation provided)

About Agoda At Agoda, we bridge the world through travel. Our story began in 2005, when two lifelong friends and entrepreneurs, driven by their passion for travel, launched Agoda to make it easier for everyone to explore the world. Today, we are part of Booking Holdings [NASDAQ: BKNG], with a diverse team of over 7,000 people from 90 countries, working together in offices around the globe. Every day, we connect people to destinations and experiences, with our great deals across our millions of hotels and holiday properties, flights, and experiences worldwide. No two days are the same at Agoda. Data and technology are at the heart of our culture, fueling our curiosity and innovation. If you’re ready to begin your best journey and help build travel for the world, join us. The Opportunity The Partner Strategic Engagement team is looking for a strategic, results-driven marketer to help own and scale events for Agoda's supply partners: hotels, airlines, and activities. Events are strategic levers for partner growth, activation, and relationship building. This is not a logistics only role. While operational execution is a critical component, this position sits at the intersection of strategy and execution: shaping how events drive measurable business impact through strategic planning, stakeholder orchestration, and scalable frameworks that turn events into a measurable business growth engine. We are looking for someone who thrives in ambiguity, builds clarity through frameworks, drives cross-functional initiatives with discipline and influence, and earns strong stakeholder trust. Experience in events marketing is a plus, but it is not a requirement. Traditional event production experience is not a prerequisite either. Backgrounds in consulting, strategy, or PMO are equally valued, and we strongly encourage those candidates to apply. What matters most is how you think, structure problems, and drive commercial outcomes. You will work closely with Supply, business development, and partner teams to make sure events align with business priorities, strengthen partner relationships, and contribute directly to supply growth goals. You'll own events end to end, with scope growing with your level. Key Responsibilities Event Strategy & Business Integration • Translate commercial priorities into event strategies with clear business cases • Contribute to, and at senior levels own, annual roadmaps aligned to growth objectives • Define success metrics beyond attendance (pipeline impact, activation, ROI, incrementality) • Build and improve scalable playbooks and operating models Cross-Functional Leadership • Partner with Supply, Partner Digital Marketing, PR, Content, Branding, and Senior Leadership • Align stakeholders with competing priorities • Run structured working sessions and prepare executive updates • Influence without direct authority in a matrix organization Program & Project Governance • Lead events and multi-workstream initiatives end to end • Build detailed project plans with risk mitigation and milestone tracking • Run governance cadence and reporting • Ensure disciplined execution across markets and teams Performance Measurement & Optimization • Build measurement frameworks and post-event impact analysis • Identify key performance levers and iterate based on data • Develop dashboards to track ROI and business outcomes • Run test-and-learn approaches to improve effectiveness Requirements We are intentionally looking beyond traditional event planners. Experience in events or field marketing is welcome, but it is not essential. You may come from: • Events, field, or B2B marketing (a plus, not a must) • Management consulting • Strategy or business transformation teams • PMO or program management roles • Business operations in high-growth environments You likely have 4+ years of relevant experience. We will match the level to your experience. You likely demonstrate: Structured Problem-Solving • Ability to turn ambiguity into clear frameworks and action plans • Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen Stakeholder Management • Experience working with senior stakeholders • Comfortable in high-visibility, fast-moving environments • Ability to influence without relying on hierarchy Execution Excellence • Strong project management discipline • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives • Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture Business Orientation • Understands P&L drivers and growth mechanics • Makes data-informed decisions • Focused on impact, not activity #MarketingManager #B2BMarketing #EventMarketing #FieldMarketing #GrowthMarketing #MarketingStrategy #ManagementConsulting #BusinessStrategy #BusinessTransformation #ProgramManagement #ProjectManagement #PMO #BusinessOperations #CrossFunctionalLeadership #StakeholderManagement #CommercialStrategy #DataDrivenMarketing #MarketingAnalytics #RevenueMarketing #MarketingROI #Agoda #LifeAtAgoda #Hiring #BangkokJobs #ThailandJobs #MarketingJobs #JobsInThailand #RelocateToBangkok #SingaporeJobs #MalaysiaJobs #IndonesiaJobs #PhilippinesJobs #VietnamJobs #IndiaJobs Please review our Hiring Process Guidelines before your interview — click here to learn how interviewing at Agoda works.
