About Us
At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company.
At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a "normalized" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in.

About the role:
Cloudflare provides consultative and hands-on-keyboard implementation and migration services for enterprise customers. As a Senior Zero Trust Consultant within Professional Services, you are a senior individual contributor in the post-sales landscape, responsible for the technical execution of our most complex Zero Trust / SASE solutions and for guiding our customers to get the most value possible from their Cloudflare investment. You are a technical leader in the room — trusted to own the hardest engagements end to end, unblock escalations, and set the standard for how the practice delivers.
You are a security and networking specialist with deep, hands-on experience across ZTNA, Secure Web Gateway, DNS filtering, Data Loss Prevention, CASB, Remote Browser Isolation, Cloud Email Security, and the identity and network on-ramps that tie a SASE architecture together. You are equally comfortable designing an architecture, configuring it hands-on-keyboard (including as code), troubleshooting a packet capture, and explaining the outcome to a customer's security leadership.
This position has working hours Monday to Friday, 09:00–18:00. Occasionally we support customers over weekends for specific changes that must be done outside their business hours. Travel is expected around 30%. Work is performed in English; fluency in Spanish or Portuguese is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver timely and organized services for customers, ensure customers see the full value in Cloudflare’s products and advice on product best practices.
• Gather business and technical requirements, use cases and any other information required to build, migrate and deliver a solution on behalf of the customer and transition the Cloudflare working environment to the customer. Produce a Solution Design, HLD, LLD, databuilds, procedures, scripts, test plans, drawings, deployment plan, migration plan, as-builts, and any other artifacts necessary to deliver the solution and transition smoothly into the customer’s technical teams.
• Implement changes on behalf of the customer in the Cloudflare environment following the customer's change-management process. Provide guidance to the customer to configure their CPEs and integration points (identity providers, endpoints/MDM, DNS, network on-ramps, SIEM).
• Troubleshoot implementation issues and collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and other teams to drive technical escalations to resolution.
• Contribute to the success of the organization through knowledge-sharing — internal and external documentation, technical Q&A, and iterating on best practices. Build operational assets such as templates, automation scripts, procedures, and workflows.
• Lead multi-workstream engagements and act as the senior technical owner for complex deployments; support pre-sales scoping and solution design; and mentor junior consultants, helping scale the practice through reusable intellectual property.
Experience might include a combination of the skills below:
• 3+ years in a customer-facing technical implementation or onboarding team, security engineering team, security operations center, or other highly technical team, including 3+ years focused on Zero Trust / SASE.
• Strong command of the OSI model and core protocols: TCP/IP, TLS (including TLSv1.3 and mTLS), DNS, HTTP/2.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust technologies: Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Remote Browser Isolation (RBI), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), CASB, and Cloud Email Security.
• Deep understanding of internet and security technologies: forward and reverse proxies with content filtering & DLP, sandboxing, firewalls/NGFW, WAF, bot management, rate limiting, and SSL/IPsec & SSL/TLS VPN appliances and services.
• Modern identity: SSO via SAML and OIDC, SCIM user/group provisioning and deprovisioning, LDAP/Active Directory, MFA/FIDO2, and the role of the IdP — with hands-on experience on Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, or Ping.
• DNS in depth: DNS filtering, DoH/DoT, conditional forwarding / split-DNS, internal-zone resolution, and local domain fallback.
• Endpoints: software distribution and deployment across Windows, macOS, and Linux; Windows and Linux server administration; and client-endpoint troubleshooting across all three platforms.
