Who we are About Stripe Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team Our EMEA Marketing team is a dynamic, fast-growing group that loves turning customers into enthusiastic Stripe advocates. We work hand-in-hand with our Sales team to build demand, help users get the most out of our products, and craft marketing plans that truly resonate with local audiences. In the DACH region, our team partners with some of the most ambitious innovators across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—brands like DeepL, refurbed, N26, and Nestlé. We help them use Stripe’s financial infrastructure to unlock new revenue, navigate local complexities, and scale globally. What we learn from these relationships directly influences how Stripe builds its products. The opportunity in this region is massive. We’re tackling it as a diverse, international team that thrives on collaboration, bold innovation, and genuine curiosity. If you love to learn and want to make a meaningful impact, we'd love to have you join us. What you’ll do You’ll lead marketing strategy and plan execution for the DACH region and serve as the primary Marketing partner on the DACH Leadership Team. You’ll set the regional strategy and investment plan, with Germany as the main market, and shape priorities across Austria and Switzerland. You’ll be accountable for demand, pipeline, customer advocacy, and Stripe’s long-term market position in the region. As a senior individual contributor, you will align regional and global cross-functional teams around shared priorities, secure the necessary resources, and navigate trade-offs between global strategies and local market needs. You will directly lead high-priority initiatives across the region. Leveraging deep market and account insights, you will identify key growth opportunities across target industries and audiences. In close partnership with Sales, you will build tailored programs for strategic accounts and high-potential prospects aligned with their business models, technical environments, and commercial objectives. Responsibilities • Define and own the integrated DACH marketing strategy, turning business goals, market dynamics, and competitive context into clear priorities. • Partner with DACH GTM leadership, Sales, Sales Development, and Partnerships to set shared priorities, join business and pipeline reviews, and focus investment on the highest-value opportunities. • Build and oversee a full-funnel DACH marketing plan across brand, demand generation, account-based marketing, pipeline acceleration, executive engagement, and customer advocacy. • Develop industry and account programs for strategic customers and high-potential prospects, helping Sales engage the right stakeholders with relevant messages. • Bring together EMEA and global teams, including Demand Generation and Product Marketing, to deliver the DACH plan, working with Sales, Product, Solutions Engineering, Partnerships, and Communications. • Build Stripe’s brand and local presence in DACH through regional customer stories, partner programs, and executive, industry, and ecosystem engagement, including activation around Stripe flagship and third-party events. • Own metrics across demand, pipeline, opportunity progression, priority-account engagement, and return on investment. Use results to improve programs and stop or change those that aren’t delivering. • Represent DACH across EMEA and global marketing teams, bringing market insight into planning and sharing successful programs across markets. Who you are You’re an experienced B2B marketer who has owned a country, regional, or similarly broad marketing strategy. Preferred qualifications • Experience in payments, financial technology, commerce, B2B cloud services, or another complex and highly competitive technology category. • Experience engaging enterprise executives and buying groups across Finance, Treasury, Technology, Product, and Operations. • A track record of building local brand relevance, thought leadership, customer advocacy, or influence strategies—not only demand-generation programs. • Experience building a marketing approach where the playbook, resources, or route to im
