Customer Solutions Architect (NYC)

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven. Customer Solutions Architect About the role The Customer Solutions Architect (CSA) is the primary post-sales technical owner for our existing customers, helping them get the most value from the combined Fivetran and dbt platform. Working alongside Account Executives (AEs) and Solutions Engineers (SEs), the CSA makes sure customers not only deploy successfully, but keep scaling and expanding their usage over time. This role operates as a technical account manager and strategic advisor, bridging the gap between onboarding success and long-term growth. The CSA owns the technical narrative after go-live: monitoring an existing book of business, leading technical discussions, uncovering new data challenges, and guiding customers through architecture evolution, adoption, and expansion through live demos and technical workshops. Unlike implementation-focused roles, the CSA is accountable for both retention and growth, and is measured on incremental ARR, Net Revenue Retention (NRR), and Gross Revenue Retention (GRR). You will act as a trusted advisor, advocate, and accelerator, ensuring customers derive maximum value from their data investments while aligning their technical roadmap with the platform's capabilities. Location: New York City, NY (hybrid). This is a full-time position, and candidates must be located in NYC and able to work in the office two days a week (Tuesday and Thursday).
