Qualifications: • Oracle Fusion Expertise: Proven hands-on experience configuring, customizing, and supporting Oracle FAH, GL, SLA, and BIP. • Data Engineering Skills: Strong proficiency in relational databases, advanced SQL/PL/SQL, and web services (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML). • Systems Architecture: Demonstrated experience in accounting process transformations, financial data modeling, and end-to-end solution architecture. • Pragmatic Problem Solver: Ability to navigate complex organizational dependencies, breaking down technical debt into streamlined, automated processes. Nice to haves: • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Go, Java). • Experience navigating peripheral financial modules intersecting with accounting data (Tax, FCCS). • Previous experience in fintech, banking, or cryptocurrency platforms. What will make you successful at Block: • The Player-Coach Mindset: You are as comfortable advising senior leaders on the art of the possible leveraging a combination of off the shelf platforms like Oracle and in-house built solutions. • Holistic Systems Thinking: Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Accounting, Data Engineering, Product management and Integration teams to deliver unified, automated enterprise solutions. • Focus on Business Velocity: A relentless drive to leverage AI and platform automation to compress financial close cycles and expand operating margins.
