What you’ll need: • 4+ years of experience in digital, web, product, or brand design. • Experience building a design system. • A portfolio demonstrating strong web design, visual design, and systems thinking. • Experience designing responsive marketing websites and landing pages. • Understanding of design system principles, including tokens, components, variants, states, patterns, and templates. • Systems thinker: Sees patterns across components, modules, tokens, and page experiences; knows when to create, consolidate, or extend a solution. • Experience collaborating with engineers and working within technical constraints. • Strong visual design skills, including layout, typography, color, composition, and hierarchy. • Experience creating or maintaining icon libraries, or a strong interest in developing iconography skills. • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive design principles. • Strong Figma skills, including components, variables, styles, libraries, and prototyping. • Clear communication and strong collaboration skills. • High attention to detail and a willingness to ask questions, incorporate feedback, and improve the work. • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines. Nice to have: • Experience working on financial services, fintech, technology, or other highly regulated websites. • Experience supporting large-scale marketing websites with many products, pages, and content types. • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, responsive behavior, and front-end development constraints. • Experience with motion, interaction design, or micro-interactions. • Experience working within a brand redesign or evolving visual identity. • Comfortable incorporating AI tools, including Cursor, into their workflow to support exploration, documentation, prototyping, and system maintenance.
